piece of Roman craftsmanship - Mask, part of a ceremonial Roman helmet,
bronze, beginning of 2nd century AD, excavated at site Kostol-Pontes,
near Trajan's Bridge, near Kladovo, eastern Serbia. It was created under
the strong influence of realistic portraits of Trajan's time, and By
its stylistic features, it belongs to Trajanian realism (the transition
between the 1st and the 2nd century) and comes from Italic workshops.
